My friend's car equiped with LoJack Early Warning has $90 discount in his premium per year, called "Anti-Theft", we don't know if this is related to LoJack though.

No discount in Arizona with my carrier, but that's OK, I guess. I bought the LoJack only to protect my car.

Here in Massachusetts Lojack qualfies for a 35% discount on your comprensive coverage (theft, fire, vandalism) but the alarm system that comes with the car qualifies for a 20% or 25% anyway so the net discount for Lojack is only 10% or 15% which basically means you'd never make your money back on insurance savings.

I received an 18% discount from AAA. I still would have had it installed if I didn't get the discount though.

What I paid for Lo Jack lifetime

I paid $465 for Lo Jack lifetime installed. I have Wawanesa insurance. I may have saved a few bucks, but I didn't care. I bought it to protect against the hassle of a theft not for potential insurance savings, although it is nicer to get some savings too.

paid $650 for lo-jack installed in a 97 accord, got the car stolen at 4am on a sunday, there were only 4 police in the whole city of Houston that could trace my car, so they found it a block away from my house with no seats, door panels, air bags, or any leather piece 12 hours later. Insurance totalled the car because it was worth 9k and it would cost 15k to replace all seats and leather pieces back... this was 4 years ago.

Now for my 04 TL I will install a GPS tracking device so I can tell where the car is, and notify the police its whereabouts.

NOX 3.2, I'd say this is my 5-7 times seeing this story out of you... but very informative for those in your regions.

I'm sorry but I just want people to be well informed before making their decision...

At least you can tell I'm consistent, right ?

Arrow Absolutely right.

In lots of states, LoJack is not as perfect as its ad says. I'm sure the insurance Co. would weigh these factors into your premium/policy...
