Sounds like a good dealprice wise but 5% is a little on the hood side. Its just too dark IMO and at night is downright ridiculous trying to see out. I personally think 20% all around is the darkest I would do that still gives you almost completely black looking windows but allows you to see out somewhat at night. I have 20% all around (obviously minus windshield) on my Lexus looks good but is a little tough to see at night. When I had my 07 Type S I had 35% all around and loved it.

Also the other thing I forgot, make sure that on the rear side small windows that they tuck the tint back behind the rubber strip. If he claims that he cant do it go elsewhere as they obviously arent "good" tinters. My guy did all the windows for 200 even.

Wow 5%? that seems eat to dark. If you have dark interior I'd say 35% at the darkest and 20% for light interior. Keep it classy for a classy car. I paid $400 for my formula 1 pinnacle series 50% with a lifetime warranty against scratches, bubbling, peeling, basically anything that is wrong with the tint, they'll replace free. That price also included installation of all four windows with moleskins.

Shops around here charge about 160$ for all 4 side windows and the back window. That's using Llumar as well. Lucky me I know a guy who does it at his house on a side job. I have 15% sides/back on mines..but with the tan interior it doesn't look dark enough for me. Black interior makes tint look a lot more dark.

5% is a bit hood. I had 15% all around on my '05 red Accord coupe (tan leather) back in the day. Made for a dark and cozy interior during the day and was supremely dark at night. The contrast of the red and black was sharp.
The price is decent. I have Llumar as well on my '08 NBP Type S (blk 2-tone interior) - 15% on the back window, 35% on the sides - with the rear quarters tinted completely (no strip is visible). I paid $250 with moleskin. Make sure they do the entire quarter section; if they say they can't, go somewhere else because it most certainly can be done without any extra charge.

yea thats a good price, good luck if you put 5% on your driver and passenger windows as ive tried in the past and ive had about.... 5 or 6 window tint tickets. now i have 50% on the fronts and 5% in back and i dont get any trouble.

price seems okay but if your thinking about going that dark you should consider tapering it off such as 5 in back, 15 rear, and 25 up front. It really feels like limo all the way around but you can still check your blind spots at night.
