Hid fog conversion question

. QUESTION...i just bought an hid kit for my foglights and im just wondering if i should have a wiring harness to the battery...the kit was all plug n play. Just dont wanna melt factory wires and not sure if theyll be ok.

I have mine installed without this harness and I haven't had any problem with them. The same in my wife's 07 MDX.

I disconnected my DRL's and run my HID fogs on at all times. Similar to the '10 Camaro's and MDX's....
