Liscence plate removal

IS there a trick to removing ones liscence plate and holder...tried but am afraid to break something

no screws my friend...the holder is only held to the plate by screws...I was asking about the full removal...thanks for the brainstorm tho

Remove the plate, then you'll see 2 screws on the lower portion of the plate holder, left and right. Unscrew them, and voila, the holder is out. There's no clip or anything besides those 2 screws.

strange...mine was different...it was snapped into the one side and screwed in on the other side

Weird? There should of been two self tap screws...that should of been screwed into the two holes in the front. Afterwards you can get plugs to cover the holes.

They had the plugs in a little baggie at our dealership with the keyes and stuff, we came back later and I think I forgot to take them(stupid stupid stupid).

Yeah i went back to the dealer yesterday when my a-spec was being installed and they gave me the plugs...IDK why there was only one screw..could the dealer be that cheap lol
