Cruising home from work late last night on a dark empty highway, I slid a cd into the drive. As the car hit 65mph, the familiar guitar riff of Pink Floyd's "Shine on you Crazy Diamond, part 1" started to play.

I smiled. It was going to be a nice drive home.

Anyway, to answer the question, metal (regular or death) or classic rock. Hearing Motley Crue's Wild Side always makes me want to blast down the road like I'm trying to out run the cops.
