Hey Gang, the battery died on my TL today for the 1st time. I left the lights set to ON overnight and forgot to turn them off. (my new car has lights auto on and off if left in a certain setting...)

I thought the TL lights turned off after 15 or 30 seconds depending on the setting, no?

Yes, but you have to set it first.

I didn't know you have to SET it for 1st???

All you have to do is press LOCK on your Key fob your Lights will turn off if you want to leave you lights on.....at least it works for me

on overpasses the headlights turn on when you exit they turn off

when you shut off the ignition in the dark... headlights turn off...

ps. if the car is beeping when you open ur door... you left something on or your key in the ignition

agreed...they do indeed, but you have to set them prior...get the optima battery...screw the oem acura batteries...and all the other lame battery sources out there...
