Led question

This might seem silly but I was wondering if replacing license plate bulbs with leds cause any damage? How about the interior lights? I know leds usually have a lower current draw but I wasn't sure if that would cause any issues down the line.

many people on here have replaced they're lights with led and none reported any problems. the only issue is some of the cheaper led's tend to burn out prematurely but that still doesn't affect the car...there's threads that get into more details on here...

Most of the LED "bulbs" have resistors built in to compensate for the different draw. These bulbs replace your OEM bulbs in areas such as the map domes, door courtesy lights, etc.
If you go about replacing your gauge lights, you do have to account for that difference, but that is a different thread. F-165 in the 3G Garage.
