I just received the 9led from superbrightleds.com for an 06 TL and they look ok but may not be as bright as represented in others pictures that have ordered from tech toyz.

Has anyone determined there is a difference or brightness delta betwen ******* and superbright?

I added the wled6 bulb in the maplights on my escalade and they seemed brighter than the 9led bulbs ???

Since neither company had festoon styule bulbs for my escy's mirrors and interior lights I had to order those from another company and have not received them yet.

Any thoughts?

Disclaimer which most people have posted on their own pictures.

Almost all pictures of LEDs end up making the LEDs brighter than they are in person.

I have no comparison but am very happy with the 9LEDs from ********!

I have both the 9 and 6led's in white from superbrightleds. I find the 9 leds to have a much more purple hue to them than the 6leds. The brightness is hard to compare since the color is so different. I definately like the color of the 6leds better. It is a light blue/white color. The 9leds have a very purple look.

I even had the 9leds for my license plate lights (and my g/f 350Z license plate) and it didn't look right. TOO PURPLE. NOT BRIGHT ENUF. Then they started to flicker and go out. I had to take them out.

So my recommendation is to ************ The seller is on the forum and is quick to reply to any questions or concerns. Everyone seems to like the bulbs they received and haven't had any troubles to my knowledge. If I buy any more bulbs, they will be from ***********!!!

I don't have and haven't seen any 6LEDs but my 9LEDs from ***** are definitely not purple at all. It is the cool white/blue you see in all the pictures on here.

I ordered the 9led fro *******today so i will compare the difference when they arrive. The festoon bulbs arrived for the other car and look great..

I have the 9LED's in all lights in the interior except my trunk (Still trying to get the stufid pucking cover off to put it in)

go with the 9LED from ********, **** or whatever his name is, is a great guy...and the the interior is definately brighter and looks very sharp and clean with the 9LED white...doesn't look ghetto at ALL and every single person without fail (no exaggeration here) has commented on them as they get into my car...and LOVES THEM

i got the 9's from ********. the only ones that are weak are the trunk, reverse, & glove box. all the rest look great & make the whole apperance of car better. the stock bulbs were too bright anyway

Yeah, don't both for the trunk light or the reverse. Everything else looks great in 9LEDs. See my thread for advice about the trunk/reverse lights.

 

how did you guys pop the covers off the cabin lights on the ceiling(front and back)?

 

funny thing is... all my boys been doin this rice burner shit since we been in high school. i was always in to the g-body's back then (keepin it gangsta(and american!)!) and this TL is my first. they all comment on how bright my stock interior lights are and how fast my windows roll up! i cant help but laugh to myself!!!

 

OK I finally got the ******* lights and they are brighter and whiter than the superbright leds i purchased. the difference appears to be a yellow backing in the led itself. The superbrights appear more purple.

are you guys talking about the white LED's or the blue LED's? i just ordered the 12LED white's from superbrightleds.com, but reading this thread.. made me feel like i sould have ordered from *******..

Comparing the 9led version in white. I would hope the 12led version was even brighter.
