Leaving FL

Going to NYC. Now the question is, how do I save my TL from getting crazy rust from snow/salt combo??

didnt care about it with the SUV when I lived there but the TL is a different story.

ps. Orlando is boring. Ill come back when it's time to retire.

Where are you headed?

Ooops... just saw that you wrote New York City. Sorry. Man that's going to be a heck of a change. Why not stay in Florida but just move to a different city/town? How about Tampa, Gainesville, or perhaps Jacksonville? Any of those must be a better choice than NYC. And of course there are other great places down south to consider. Atlanta, Charlotte, Charleston, Savannah, Raleigh/Durham.... got to be some other places that might appeal to you without straying too far from where you are now.

I was born and raised there man, FL has been ok for these 3 years. Not having family here (only wife and daughter) sucks.

I have a good job but I can do much better up there now that I have my CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification.

Hey bud. I lived in Jacksonville for like 5 years almost. I was stationed down there in the Navy. Had to move back home to NH a couple years ago. Best thing to do is just wash it once a week. Seriously. And max sure you wax it every 6 months and you'll be golden. Never bring it to an automatic car wash where there are brushes. Only touch free. And it definitely helps to get the undercarriage rinsed off too. If you do that it will prevent rust. Of course over time it will, this will just slow the process.

I can certainly understand and respect that. Good luck to you.
