Question L.E.D. Bulbs

Can anyone tell me which L.E.D. bulbs they put in the inside of there car (the domes) and the doors. Did ya put the one L.E.D. bulb or the 6 one?
And how do you install them in the glove compartment?

You put the 6 or 9 LED in the dome and doors, the 1 LED in the glove box. Just did it in mine. Blue LED's my kid loves it, plus it looks good too.

I've got the 9 LED blue bulbs from Tec-Toyz in mine. The 2 front doors, 2 front courtesy lights, 2 rear courtesy lights, 1 glove box, and 1 center console light. The glove box light is easier to put in if you release the stops on each side of the supports. The glove box will drop almost to the floor. There is not much room to work with the light. GENTLY squeeze the light base to remove the bulb. Then just reverse everything to reinstall. The center console light is the hardest. It only pulls out about 3/8 of an inch to work with.

Good luck!

By the way-just had someone stop me in McDonald's to inquire about the blue LED's!!!!!

check out www.tec-toyz.com. easy to deal with and you don't have to worry about what bulb #s at all. just tell him what you want to replace and he will get you the right bulbs. he has a 3G TL also.

I just finished installing all the LEDs from him. I have white 9LEDs. replaced every bulb I could reach (2 front doors, 2 front dome, 2 rear dome, 1 glove box, 1 center console, 2 reverse, 2 license plate, and 1 trunk) [all 9LEDs except gove box and center console which is 1LED]

replacing glove box's is easier than center console's. there are tons of DIY for LEDs. do a search or look in "modifications".

I think the only difference between 9 and 6 is brightness.

lol, I don't think they are that bright. as least not blinding bright to me. since they have a hint of purple, it is soothing, IMO.

there is DIY for replacing all the lights. in short, you have to remove the trunk lid cover to replace license plate lights AND reverse lights.

are you in NY?

as for brightness, it's all about personal preference. if you are sure, I suggest getting 1 9LED and 1 6LED to compare for yourself before ordering a complete package.

check out www.tec-toyz.com he has all sorts and images - blue and white with different interior colors. as for colors, the blue and white bulbs all look the same. it's just the color they emit.

nah, the trunk lid cover is easy. I was being very careful the very first time removing it. just make sure you have the right tools and patience. read the DIY thoroughly. that's what I did. I read 5-6 DIYs by different people before I started. it's not that hard at all. it all comes down to tools and patience.

I think there are some AZ members in Miami who have LED mod done.

Alright thanks man. I ordered the 9LED cause I saw the 6LED off someones car and I didnt think it was bright enough. Hopefully I get it soon so I can install them. And can someone give me links on the DIYs on changing the trunk lights and license plate lights please.
