Looking goood

Question:

Install cost was $500, does that include the parts and proximity sensor too?

If not how much were those and where did you get them?

Blacked Out, an interesting mod and a very useful one for you. Sorry to hear about your right arm. I always wonder how people cope when they lose one of their limbs ... must have been very difficult at the beginning. How do you shift or do you always have a passenger sitting to your right? Looks like the left shifting cars (those made in England) will be more user friendly. I wonder whether Acura makes those and whether you can drive them on US roads.

Very nice mod, very impressive. Is there a reason Acura hasn't switched over to the push button start system?? In the pictures of the RDX I've seen so far, it still seems like you turn the key in the ignition.

Ok... Perhaps I just don't get it... Instead of taking a key out (which is already one item too many) to start the car in addition to taking the fob to unlock the doors, you take out the fob to unlock the doors and THEN another device to wave in front of the sensor and then you have two items sitting in hand to place in the console instead of just one set hanging from the key slot? That is definitely a cool feature, but why didn't you have them wire the thing so it would unlock the car, too? I may have missed that, if so, please forgive me.

I missed this thread the first time around. NICE MOD! That'd be useful on a daily basis.

nice mod, but not my style. i think push button starts are a gimmick to sell a car. IMO, infiniti's smart key >*
