Do you have one or do you want to get one? If you have one, here are the programming instructions and you can try it out. I don't know for sure if it will work, but maybe not because I wouldn't think the TSX has a provision for identifying itself as #1 or #2 keyfob and that might make a difference when trying to use it for the TL.

REMOTE TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING

Storing transmitter codes.
The codes of up to three transmitters can be stored into the keyless receiver unit memory. (If a fourth code is stored, the code which was first input will be erased.)

NOTE: It is important to maintain the time limits between the steps. Make sure the doors, the hood and the trunk lid are closed.

1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II)

2. Within 1 to 4 seconds, press the transmitter lock or unlock button with the transmitter aimed at the keyless receiver unit behind the driver’s side of the dashboard.

3. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch OFF.

4. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch ON (II).

5. Within 1 to 4 seconds, press the transmitter lock or unlock button with the transmitter aimed at the keyless receiver unit behind the driver’s side of the dashboard.

6. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch OFF.

7. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch ON (II).

8. Within 1 to 4 seconds, press the transmitter lock or unlock button with the transmitter aimed at the keyless receiver unit behind the driver’s side of the dashboard.

9. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch OFF.

10. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch ON (II).

11. Within 1 to 4 seconds, press the transmitter lock or unlock button with the transmitter aimed at the keyless receiver unit behind the driver’s side of the dashboard.

12. Confirm you can hear the sound of the door lock actuators within 1 to 4 seconds, then push the transmitter lock or unlock button again, or the code will not be stored.

13. Within 10 seconds, aim the transmitter (up to two additional ones) whose codes you want to store in the keyless receiver, and press the transmitter lock or unlock buttons. Confirm that you can hear the sound of the door lock actuators after each transmitter code is stored.

14. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and remove the key.

15. Confirm proper operation with the transmitters.

NOTE: Once the programming mode is entered, the remote button must be pressed a second time. If the button is not pressed, or if the ignition switch is turned OFF, the programming for all remotes will be cancelled.

Not necessarily, because the transmitter (key fob) is linked to the receiver, not the other way around.

If you had two TL's, you could easily link one key fob to both cars, which would open the doors, etc, but of course if the keys were different you couldn't get one key in the lock cylinders for both cars. For ultimate convenience you could get the door lock cylinder, glove box lock cylinder, and ignition cylinder of one car adapted to accept the key from the other car.

That is why, if you lost a key or got an additional spare key, you would link the transmitter (new key fob) to the receiver, meaning you could still use all of your original keys. That is why the instructions say you can link up to three transmitters (key fobs) to a single receiver.

Gochan,
If the FCC ID numbers on the TSX keyfob are the same as the FCC-ID numbers on the TL remote you are a go.

I bought this remote, described below, on ebay for $4.88. I was advertised as being from a TSX. When I programmed it to my 04TL it worked great. Just make sure the numbers match with your TL remote.

03 04 TL TSX
PART # ON BACK IS:

FCC ID OUCG8D-387H-A
IC 850G-G8D387HA
G8D-387H-A

MEMORY 2

How does that work considering the TL has memory and the TSX doesn't?

Fob is stupid, the car has the memory.

How does that work considering the TL has memory and the TSX doesn't?
The memory is stored in a module in the vehicle, the fob itself has no memory, just an identity, 1 or 2. The car recalls memory settings based on which fob it senses.
That's why you have to pair the fob to the vehicle.

Too bad the auto companies don't realize this would be a great feature. I would love to have 1 fob for both my TL and Pilot!
