Talking Just placed order

Long time reader, first time post!

Just placed order for NBP/Ebony 6MT W Navi. I feel I got a pretty good price (33,400 which equates to roughly 1k above invoice) considering how hard it is to find this combination.

I wanted the A-Spec package as well, but they would not budge on the price. The saleman was trying to tell me that the tires alone were 3,000.00. I laughed and asked if they were made of platinum and advised that the WHOLE kit is on ebay for 3800. His retort was that it was not original Acura parts and that it would be cheap blah blah. I tried to tell him that it was an Acura ealership with SMART people working there, but he wouldn't hear it. So at this point I am probably going to have to order from Ebay and have them install it. Why they wouldn't simply match the price and take some money off the table is beyond me.

Now begins the painful wait.....

Thumbs up Re: Just placed order

Congratulations. Your car should be there soon.

Why the salesman wouldn't match your offer? He cannot do so except his manager says so, or he has to make a last-ditch defense on the price he mentions about.

Anyway, you got good price.

I was advised it would be here by months end! They took delivery this morning of another 6pd NBP with Navi, but whoever prepped it scratched the sheet outta the car (down to the metal).

One reason I am not even having them wash/prep the car!!

Nodoze,
Be prepared to bite all your finger nails off!
Waiting for delivery is a great concept...ON PAPER!!!
In real life, it sucks donkey dongers!

P.S. Congrats! We will have someone teach you the secret handshake, once you provide proof of ownership.

Congrats. I have the exact same config (no A-Spec), I get a lot of positive feedback on the color choices, I still look for excuses to run meaningless errands, take the long way there and back, and come home smiling every time. Here's hoping you won't have to wait long.

Good choice! I have the same combo w/ Navi, no A-spec. I lucked out, my first trip to the Acura dealer to check out the TL, and there it was, the only one with that combo on the lot (only 3 6MT's and 20 AT's). Drove it home that night.

If I may ask what dealership did you order from? It sounds like a great price, congrats.
