Silver, Auto, Ebony, no Navi.
Delivery mid-April.
$31,250 - after several rounds with an internet service and my local dealer. Local dealer finally matched Internet deal. Which is a good thing since the local dealer is 1/4 mile from my home.
Really a pleasant experience - as have been all three of my Honda purchase experiences over the years. I can't wait (well I can, but the time will drag).
Should have the new key memory module and I asked if they would try to get the Michelin tires. We'll see.
Great forum BTW. I have read every post in the past month. Very educational.

Congrats! I support your style/feature decisions except the following:
Silver exterior should be any color *but* silver. Too many silver cars out there.
Ebony interior should be any color *but* ebony. No contrast, dusty, hot, monotone.
No-Navi, No-Good. Gaping hole is really fugly.
Other than that, great car!
Enjoy!

They already had this one on order and I would rather wait and get a brand new build car with less than 10 miles on it. It also allowed them to give me a reasonable price since they haven't invested anything in their, or anybody elses, costs against the holdback.

BTW I haven't seen a single 2004 TL (silver or any other color) anywhere in my local area. We have one dealer in Dayton and they admit to a low volume of sales. It may be because this is a big GM town.

I agree. Everyone has a reason for what they buy so there shouldn't be any bad mouthing about what someone chooses. Maybe getting the non navi is a better choice when you can put the $2K way for a nice trip or into savings.

Humm, Silver with Ebony would be my choice! All the colors look great except for the mustard yellow interior color. Did they call it Carmel? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

Hope you end up eating your "carmel" (actually Camel) words. I originally agreed with you, that the Camel looked orange, but it has grown on me as it is new and edgy. Now I'd say I probably like it best. Also, some here have posted that the orangeness is now gone from the this color recently. Again, don't be surprised if you change your mind about the color in a couple months. I did.

Autobytel. Only because one of the Cinci dealers (about 40 miles from here) had an arrangement with them. I sent off the internet request and got an E Mail response in about ten minutes. Phone contact quickly after that. Back and forth and a pretty good quote in 4 days - delayed somewhat since I was away on a bidness trip for three days. Went to the local dealer (1/4 mile from my house) and tried to really beat that quote (I offered $30,900 which is $1500 over 'real' invoice) but ended up just under the Autobytel quote. Relatively painless all around. ~$2000 off MSRP seems to be about as well as anyone here has done. FYI I found years ago that if you go into these negotiations with all the facts (the 'real' facts) and present them in a business-like manner (the end-of-month/end-of-quarter part often doesn't hurt) that good sales people are motivated to close an easy deal- even on popular cars. I always keep it simple. I sell my old cars myself and work my own financing. Like many in this forum I also have gone out-of-town, as far as Cinci in my case, in the past to buy a car and make sure the sales people are aware of that from the gitgo. That was especially important in this case where we only have one Acura dealer in Dayton. We love honda products here. My wife has a new (~6 months) Accord EX V6 and couldn't be happier. Well, once she sees the TL she may change her mind.
