Just ordered LED Switchbacks
I just placed an order for the 7443 wedge base switchbacks.
I ordered the 1" diameter version, and was wondering if they will fit.
The other version is 3/4" and is standard for most bulb housings.
I was wondering if the 1" version will fit, and if I need to change my order.

Curious, which one did you get?
I just visited auto illumination's site... they have a '60-60' type 2 switchback but do not list it being 3/4" or 1" while it seems that VLeds do not have anything higher than 48 for 7443s.

The 48 LED units do have issues with brightness, but its more a function of the cleared headlights (read: no diffuser) than with the bulbs themselves.
Optimum solution would be the 48LED S/Bs + the clear diffuser from a Type-S or the vendor Unique Style Racing, who is now selling just the diffuser parts.

They seem pretty good to me. I emailed them and they said they literally grabbed it off the truck to get change it.
And ive ordered from superbright leds and autolumination and both have been good. Ive had the bulbs in for over a year now.

Man, I feel very noob.
What exactly is the incompatibility of the 60 SMT S/B?
I should be getting clear diffusers from a type-s soon... I just like my lights to be as bright as possible.
I'm on autolumination's site... where can I find the resistors? Is it listed under another name on the site? Or should I just go and get 'em from Parts-express?

I bought from Auto illumination the 68 smt 7443, its bright as hell and I didn’t get any resistors, I custom made mine, and work like charm and I don’t have the clear diffuser which I wish I had. Yet they are bright without them in broad daylight and at night of course. They are the v2 and they didn’t mention size but they fit directly in. no problems no cutting or modifying. And I didn’t have any problems with their customer service they respond quickly. but to cut it short I’m going with a different look and I’m selling everything except my mod of resistors I don’t want to sell that here is a link to my sale if anyone is interested. It may seem like a lot but you’re getting a lot, and don’t have to do anything else.
