Bulb Comparison

Just received the accord fog kit. Before I start the install I want to get some bulbs first. I won't be going with HID for now - just halogens. And after a long consideration, I'm going with yellow. Any recommendations on which stage1 yellow bulbs to get, I.E. Luminics or nokya? My first and foremost consideration would be a direct and well defined beam pattern. Thanks for the help.

HIR bulbs. I think 9012. They give you the most lumin without HID and the glare associated with HID

Wouldn't this be determined by the design of the housing and reflector and not so much the bulb? What I mean is the bulb throws equal light 360° and the reflector directs the beam, doesn't it?

Correcto!

It also sucks because all accord fogs come out differently.

Just follow my DIY and it'll get you a good idea of how you want the housing to sit so that it doesn't glare the hell out of people =)

Way too many people make the mistake of mounting their fogs outwards too much on the sides.

Another pic of Nokyas:

I suppose you're right about the housing. I saw some reviews online talking about the pattern but maybe they were I'll informed.
