Just picked up our 2004 TL Navi/Auto in Anthracite/Ebony. I love it, and am happy to be a member of the TEAM. The car looked so gorgeous sitting under the dealership lights that a woman came over to my wife to ask if she was certain about our purchase, because she had just offered the sales manager more $$$ than we did for that color. I guess it just shows how magnetic this color is.

I love the car. My wife is still "Eh" about it. But I think that's because she's not much into all the high-tech features like I am... and because I think she had her heart set on a Daytona Blue 350Z Roadster. Nice, and drove well. But as impractical as hell! I'm hoping she'll warm up to the TL.

This TL-Enthusiast site helped me put a lot of things into perspective before our lease-purchase. Oh, and waiting until August 31st to make our deal got us damn good terms. From now on, I'll always buy end of the month, end of the model year.

My wife and I picked up ours on 8/20. My wife has driven a van for 20+ years! Our Odyssey was great, but she is truly in love with the TL. She can not believe a car could be so nice and comfortable, and so fun to drive.

Took possession of my '04 anthracite Navi, 5AT, Ebony interior last Friday (on my birthday by the way) and want to thank all you nice people for posting your information. It was very helpful. I love going places now (rather quickly at that).

How much did you pay (total cost +TTL) and where? Still shopping here in DC area....

 

I'm really happy with my Anthracite/Ebony/6mt/navi. I purchased the car back in the spring, and haven't had one rattle or problem with the car since. I'm still waiting my first service and oil change but I don't have any issues to resolve so I'm not in any hurry to take the car back to the dealer. I've got some dirt in my 3rd brake light that I'd like to have cleaned...looks like paw prints or just dirty smudges, but I don't even notice it anymore. This is one great car and every morning when I go into the garage....I still stare at the car and admire how great it looks. I am one happy camper!
BTW...how do I join team anthracite??
