Smile Just hit 100

Got home about 45 mins ago and I am happy to report that while listening to Motley Crue's "Kickstart My Heart" (thanks to Adobeman's DVD-A program) I was able to hit 100 while taking my exit lane. I saw two guys racing, a Honda Accord coupe and a Lexsus (not sure what model) so I started speeding up and then noticed that I hit the 100mph mark.

On top of that I was able to "lap" the Lexus on the exit lane as I pushed the TL a little bit with no problem. What a nice end to an evening. Good night all.

PS: Bought my TL last month on 10/16, so I finished my "break in period".

Believe me I am. I'm too old to be dealing w/the "man" but when you get opportunities you have to take them. I’m definitely happy that I took the TL up a bit on my exit lane.

While I am glad my work has "inspired" you I can't necessarily congratulate you on hitting the century mark where and how your did it. By your own admission you were near others ("I was able to "lap" the Lexus on the exit lane ") when you did it and on a piece of road ("while taking my exit lane") generally not engineered to "save your ass" if you loose it there at top speed.

I'm not saying I'm a saint but just be careful man. If you have to do that stuff then do it when there aren't any other cars visible and on a peice of road that is at least rated for 65.

Plus, the PMRC is gonna go use you as their poster child since it was "the Crue that made you do it" I was probably just past the peak of my "head banging" when the PMRC showed up. Kind of funny in retrospect.

It does get up there pretty quickly BUT don't race, or do so around other cars. The only times I ever go more than 85 is when one of those big gaps form in the straight highway, not worth it to kill someone else (or yourself for that matter).
