I'm taking delivery hopefully this wednesday morning on an '05 5AT w/ Navi WDP/Parchment, VIN is 86XX. Finished the deal today after a few days of negotiations between two dealers. I finished with $36,500 out the door with the protection package, lifetime oil changes, wood knob shifter and a small warranty extension of 6k miles. I cannot wait to pick it up! Sales tax in CT is 6%, does this sound like a decent deal? I'll try to post some pictures once I get it, although I don't think it will be any different than what you've already seen

Picked up my TL this morning. UNBELIEVABLE! I am in love! I am a person who absolutely hates to drive, and I've never enjoyed driving so much! The combination of speed and luxury is impeccable, and I can't believe all of the little features that are available. I am going to take some pictures tomorrow and I'll post them. Best 37k i've ever spent!

 

I agree with you mike. i picked mine up on monday, am totally still on the honeymoon. just tonight i found out about these cool blue lights shining down from the inside roof. have no idea what the purpose is, but they look cool as hell. i also tried the DVD demo disk today, and despite the fact most of the music on there is horrible, sonically it's pretty impressive. I think, as you do, you get a lot of bang for the buck with this car. good luck!

 

I popped the dvd disc in tonight too. I like how they go from a CD encoded track to a dolby 5.1 encoded track. I didn't think I would be able to tell the difference in audio but it was pretty dramatic! Unbelievable sound. Even just the sound of XM radio is awesome. I was just talking to my friend today about how its so nice that everything comes standard on the car at such a low price point. Other competing automobiles start at the TL's out the door price and then you have to add all of the different options. I have a feeling i'm going to be mystified for a while!
