The color of the old fluid is pretty dark, and you must have seen how pink the new fluid was! If you have an 04-06 change the trans filter and pressure switches for 04-08 years. How coated was the magnetic on the drain plug with debris?

It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't clean. I hope the pressure switches fix the thing that happens when I kinda get a vibration/stuck at 15000 rpms. That will be my next project when I can get my hands on some!

My 2002 Maxima was like that, had 113k miles on it when I bought it. Did 3 x 3 over the next month, was still shifting great when a drunk driver broadsided me at 195k miles. I'd do a couple more fluid changes over the next month or two to get as much of that old fluid out as possible. Then do it every 15k miles after that.

Wow, you must really have a robust engine and transmission, 15,000 RPMs is a heck of a lot.

I found a video that shows the pressure switch under the battery, which one is that? There's a total of 3 correct? The other are under the car if I remember I need to read more of these forums but that one seams easy.
