Just Bought an '07 TL: Couple Quick Questions...
Hi everyone!
I'm excited to become an active member on the forum. I just bought a 2007 TL w/navi. Lovin' the car so far! I had a TSX but a guy decided to slam into my butt at 30mph.
Anyways, there's a couple things I'd like to change. Will 05/06 taillight lenses fit on my 07? If so, would they hamper the operation of the brake lights, normal lights, blinker, etc.? I just like how the 05/06 taillights look.
I like everything about the exterior of the car. But I would like to remove the lower door guard that runs the length of the car along the bottom quarter of the car. Can it be removed easily? Are they held on by two-sided tape or plugs with holes in the doors?

i'm pretty sure the tails fit.
i think you are referring to the body side molding...it's held on by double sided tape.

very easy questions!!!
yes, tail lights will fit. all third gen TL tail lights are interchangeable.
the body side molding will come off. its held on by 3m double sided tape!
