Hey guys I have been looking for a trunk lip for a while now, but most of the ones I see just arent aggressive enough for me. I found a guy that does the trunk lip style I like, and in short, he said if I can get 15 commited people to do a group buy, he will make one for the 3G TL.

This is the one he made for the TSX, and what the one that he would be making for us would look like.

I think that sticks out way too far and it would be hard to pull that off.

 

I think it will depend on the other parts youve got on your car. With the roof spoiler I got from HeelToe, i think it will look good.

 

will it come painted to match if w/o carbon fiber?

That is one thing I didn't ask I will ask him if that is an option. I'm guessing it probably won't be, but I will try to figure that out. I plan on getting the fiberglass one too so I'll need to get mine painted if he won't do it.

 

I emailed my contact, just waiting a reply for the paint situation. He's really fast at replying to my emails so I should have an answer soon.

Really? They have to be a vendor to do that? If so, I'll ask him if he would look into becoming a vendor. He has really nice work and makes just about anything for the right price.

I happen to like it. With the right exterior mods this spoiler will work. Its like any shoe looks good with the right outfit.

If he becomes a vendor and the price is right, count me in. This forum is going to BANKRUPT ME!! LOL

 

It would be nice to see pics of the entire vehicle. Not bad, maybe 1" shorter would place it in between nice and rice.

 

Like Type Steve -O- said, with the right exterior mods it will look good. Like me, I just got the roof spoiler from heeltoe and I think both of those, plus when I get the cash together for window visors, I think those all together will look good.

So funny to see how people's opinions are so differing. Personally I like the rear of the car clean with no spoiler. Previous poster thinks it would look good with rear window spoiler AND this big trunk lip spoiler. Plus the window visors which I reaaalllly dislike on these cars.

Just goes to show, everyone will have their own opinion. Not everyone will like it, but it's your car.

 

Well originally I made The thread to see if anyone is interested on a group buy on these. But everyone has their own opinion. What they choose to do with their car is their choice.
