"JDM" transmission

I have and 08 acura tl looking to change the transmission it is an automatic. I was wondering g if anyone has bought and installed these so called "jdm" j32a transmissions that are listed for an 07-08 tl? I didn't know that the tl was offered in Japan so was curious how they have a "jdm" transmission for sale. Link below for reference. Has anyone used these and are they direct plug and play? Thanks in advance.

The TL wasn't available in Japan. But the transmission is also not unique to the TL. Plenty of other Honda vehicles used the same engine and transmission combos.

better to get your trans rebuilt or a spare with the right parts, sonnax has parts that fix a ton of issues on the trans and make sure they are robust.

Correct I understand that, but what I'm wondering is it complete plug and play still? Same gearing? Same sensors?
