J35 IM worth it?

Is it worth buying a J35 intake manifold for the j32a3? I've been thinking of grabbing a j35 IM for $100, but I'm not sure if it's worth it in any way because I won't be tuning my car anytime soon. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

No, the j32 dbw, j35 dbw and even the 07-09 j37a1 manifolds are essentially the same size. The main differences you will find are that the early dbw manifolds were cast aluminum, the later ones were cast magnesium. The j37 manifold and matching throttle body from the 10-13 mdx, 4g tl sh awd and 09-12 RL would be a better upgrade.

btw, I have several j35 dbw manifolds just laying around from cars and suvs that were upgraded to j37.

thanks for the response! I definitely learned something new. Didn't know the j37 manifold was different depending on the engine, I thought they would all be the same and all the engines themselves would different. And damn I really want to do simple performance mods, but idk what. Already did plm j pipe, exhaust, plan on buying an intake by the end of the month, but then is that all I can do?

More than likely recycle them as scrap metal.
I really don't want to deal with posting ads or shipping bulky parts.

I would suggest a j37a1 swap or j36 build using a j37 crank and rods in a re-freshed block. I used to have an 07 type s 6spd with minor bolt ons (cai, jpipe, stage 1 clutch) and was never pleased with the power.

Even my j36 8th gen accord (j37a2 heads, cams, crank, rods, 89.5mm pistons), pcds, jpipe, cai and ktuner is not that fast due to the weight of the car. It's hard to get 3300 lbs moving quickly without forced induction.

yeah these cars are decently heavy, but I love the way they drive and sound. I've been thinking of swapping to a j37 or going m90 supercharger, but I believe I'd need a manual type s ecu and hondata, and I need to find a guide on where everything goes with the supercharger
