Hey everybody!

To start off, my name is Duke and I'm from the Richmond, VA area. I bought my 06 TL A-Spec W/NAVI a few months ago after selling my beloved 00 S2000. :/ I purchased my TL back in July at 55,6K miles for about $15,4. She now currently has 70k miles. At first I wasn't going to do much to the TL, but who was I kidding, thats impossible for me. Slowly But Surely i'll get it together! Not my first time on a forum, so I'll be reading/searching this forum religiously before asking any stupid or unorganized questions. (pictures of the TL at the bottom)

Anybody on here from around the Richmond area??

I'm just starting to do a couple of my first DIY projects. But I ran into this with my seat belts o.O ...

**Seat belt buckle facing on the leather

***When I am pretty sure its suppose to be facing away off the leather

And I am also pretty sure that the buckle did not get turned the other way b/c I tried for an hour to turn it back, but the seat belt itself gets too tight in the buckle to be able to turn around.

Yes, the buckle should be facing away from the leather. Your car is very clean though! Welcome to the forum!

Fold the belt over and make a crease, then pull it through the buckle. I have never had to flip it on my TL, but my old Z24 always got flipped around by drunk passengers who didn't know how to use a seatbelt.

I tried numerous times but there's no space to actually to flip it, it just gets tight and then stuck.

I didn't have to take the whole rear seat out, I was starting my DIY project and thought I would fix the seat belt while I was at it until I found the problem. :/

Nice car.
The seat belt system was installed correctly just like the others in the rear. But it's just the buckle itself thats on wrong. lol

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Welcome and congrats Duke! Any pictures of your AP1?

Be sure to check the Regions section of the forum at the top of the screen, there's an annual "Great Falls" meet in MD in Jan/Feb. It's cold but a lot of cars come.

+1. I was just looking for that link. I did mine about a month ago and it is a HUGE improvement for something you use every time you're in the car.

I've actually took it off the other day and did it before I even saw the post haha. I noticed it when I bought the car, finally just had time to do it.
