Need a new front bumper...options?

So my front bumper has one of the clips broken, body shop says get a new one. He said they make aftermarket ones for about 100 bucks, but I'm worried about quality. Is there a painted OEM one I can order? Or any other good options?

OEM bumpers do not come painted. If you order one, you would have to get it painted.

I see that you have a 2004 TL. If you ever wanted to do a TL-S front end, now would be the time to do it. However, you would have to order much more than the just the bumper for the conversion.

Hmmm, how much of a pain is it to do? Could I do the conversion in a weekend?

paint usually cost around $250-$300 depend on shop charge, and yes you can swap a bumper over a weekend. it take less than 15 mins to get the bumper off anyway.

"Other good options"? Ronjon bumper

Is there anything wrong besides the ONE broken clip on your front bumper?
Replacing the bumper for one broken clip is kinda extreme, no?

This. Very extreme to replace it.

The bumper is held to the car by many many many clips and supports.
For example... right now my bumper only has two clips holding it into place.
From what I can recall... there are about 3/each that go into the fender liner, a screw that goes into the fender, and 2 by that goes to the rad-support-thing.

So, you'll be fine with one broken clip.

Well I let the girl borrow the girl, she hit a pole near the headlight, it bent the bumper and it stick out there, about half an inch from the body. It's only in one spot, like it's permanently twisted that way.

That would be extremely helpful. I'll for sure try to get there! Any idea what time we're meeting on the 29th?

Ah... sounds much more than just one clip then.
Hope she's fine though!

And to answer your question about what's needed... depends on which front bumper you get.

The lower foglight-grills are needed.
You MIGHT be able to reuse your existing mid grill pieces on the base 07-08 bumper, I'm not sure.

But, for the TL-S you will need the new cross-bar, v-trim and the mesh that goes behind it. [with the lower foglight-grill of course]

Also, aftermarket bumpers do not have the ACURA indentation... and will require painting.
Some aftermarket bumpers do not fit flush either.

If you contact AckTL05, if he's available [pray for him, he's in NJ!], then he can get you a great price on a new front bumper

I'll be sure to hit him up, if the shipping to CA isn't too outrageous! And yeah she's fine, she hit it at like 5 mph in a parking garage. Nothing cracked, just bent.
