Cool Interior Blue LEDs

A few have asked about the Blue LEDs to replace the Interior OEM bulbs. I like them, but only replaced them in the doors, front & rear overheads. I found replacing the glovebox & console box bulbs too arduous . The pics are dark, but you'll get the idea.

Nice pics. I am on the fence regarding how I like them, but kudos on the effort.

It is a matter of taste. The pics do not show the light well, but they as bright as the OEM bulbs, with a blue hue (as opposed to the OEM bulbs, which seem yellow to me). No problem reading inside, the overheads are equally bright, blue or OEM. By the way, the vanity mirrors are still OEM...I would NOT change them as it would look like the gazer were green faced!

Alas, I am color blind (yes, I see colors, just some a bit different then you all) so color lighting is more a shading difference than illumination. Green Traffic lights look white to me, Red looks orange...but they still get the message across to me.

I agree. I hope you did not take my comment as a criticism, just my

I would like to see blue leds in the doors and whites in the ceiling.

Well I wish I could take credit for it, but I had just picked it up from the Dealer and freshly prepped for delivery.

I'm considering LEDs for the rear turn signals. I like their snappy response and pure color. While the blue LED interior is a cool look, I'm partial to the warmth of old-fashioned bulbs in my interior. There is something "luxurious" about the warm color to me.

I installed both the White LED and the Blue LEDs in to my ebony TL. I found that while white LEDs looked good, it too subtle that no one ever notices it. But just about everyone who saw the blue LEDs commented on how futuristic the interior is. I love how the blue LED looks, and I'm one of those ricer haters.
