Installing new taillights

This thanksgiving break I am going to install my taillights. I have the clear tails and I just have a few questions. I will not be removing the bumper completely only partial.

What are these "gaskets" and "seals" everyone keeps talking about? I never got any. I got my tails used and I just got two taillights. There was this stretchy rubber thing that snapped when I shot it across the room . My only issues are condensation.

Won't I be able to use the old gaskets/seals?

Sorry didn't get back to your PM, dude...thought I did. YES, you just reuse the old gaskets. It's a 45 minute job... Especially if you don't have aspec on the rear...less screws to remove.

If you're getting leaks or anything, replace the gaskets.

If no, you're good to go.

Using the old gaskets will be just fine unless they're ripped. Just swap them over from the old taillights along with the LED boards and you should be fine to go. When I install my taillights I only take the bumper off partially, no sense taking the whole thing off. Make sure when you're storing your old taillights to tape all the openings so you don't get and dust or debris inside them.

You'll want to use some black silicone around the gasket to ensure no water will get in and ruin that pricey led board
