i take it no one has any experience with this. in anyway i ordered a pair earlier today. we will see how they work.

 

I asked this before too, would be cool if they worked. I heard it won't work with our specs. You never know till you try so since you already ordered them, I guess you are the guinea pig! Discuss your findings!

 

I didn't realize there were so many cars with under-powered 9005 bulbs for the DRL's.

 

It doesn't work. jptl04 and I both bought em and tried them out. There's a thread on it with pics but I can't find it right now. The inline DRL module still doesn't output equal voltage to the LED DRLs. One is still much brighter than the other. Jake @ v-leds doesn't have access to an 07-08 TL to diagnose & fix the problem. The inline DRL modules were designed for the Lexus DRLs (Jake drives an IS 350 I believe).

No, this is not good for the 04-06 guys looking to convert the fogs to DRLs. But this WOULD be good for the 07+ guys who have DRLs all ready and want to convert them to LED so that it simulates a load.
