Almost 2500 miles on the TL and I have to admit I am happy, and I'm very hard to please. The car is rattle and problem free. I have just figured out the whole bluetooth deal and enjoy it very much. The XM radio was the biggest pleasant surprise. The car handles great and there is decent power. I got the auto, so I find that I drive much less aggressively than I would a standard. This is my first auto. I must admit that the car looks so good. Every single time I see it I'm like "damn thats hot!!" I have the anthracite ebony!!

My last car was a 2004 Volvo S60R, 300 horse with AWD, so it was a bit of an adjustment getting used to the torque steer. My only gripes right now would be the much worse than expected gas mileage, a stereo that lacks umph, and uncomfortable, non hugging seats. Value wise I don't think this car can be beat!!

Other good things would be rims that seem to stay clean with minimal brake dust build up, great heated seats, nicely placed cup holders, and fantastic headlights.

My first rattle started at 3,500 in the driver's door and it is pretty loud. Then my check engine light turned on a 4,200 and won't turn off. So give it some time, there is still hope your TL will have problems...LOL

 

well well well.. my car is 05 with 5200 miles now and not one problem! i love this car more gs430, bmw530, 740, infiniti g35, m35, m45 or whatever.

there`s a lot of people keep coming up to me everywhere in the city and make such a good comments about my car.

and MPG has been proven soooooo much from 18mpg went up to 22mpg in city and from 26 went to 32 in highway. im pleased a looottttt.

i love this car to death! i don`t care what anybody has said in the past or now it will not effect me from giving it up.

i drive an average of 120 miles per day and never get tired. im studying to become a bmw technician but will always keep these car untill 08 comes out and will see how it looks!
