I got my front windshield tinted....35 percent.....the windows are 20 percents
let me know what u think

the pix arent that high quality.....took em with my fone.
and yes i live in jersey and its against the law to have the fronts tinted but i got a permit from the dmv with my doctors note to have my front windows and windshield tinted cause my eyes are sensitive to light

What is the best tint to put on? How about color of tint, smoke or grey? I want a light tint, don't want the cops to pull me over much. I can do it myself. I saw companies who sell tint already die-cut to size. But which is the best brand? Thankyou ahead of time! Jeff D.

I hope you dont have trouble seeing at night. I have heard alot of people took theirs off after putting 35% on windshield. I personally would put 50% if I want tint, 35% is too dark at night. You will definitely get harassed for sure though, good luck.
PS, if you want to see better with it on. Try to swap factory with 6000K H.I.D. bulbs.

I seriously hope it doesn't bother you / inhibit your vision at night......
its like ur willing to trade off some safety at night with full visibility just for the good looks of a tinted windshield and with less visiblity......

Is there really any other reason than aesthetics that people do this? Seriously, why would someone put themselves thru that? Isn't it easier to get some expensive shades instead? I guess I just missed that one huh man?...

...front windshield tint is really asking for the cops, if anything as someone said before, you should have gone with 50% at most. You're going to be screwed at night and if you do get into an accident and they find out your eye sight note/permit was BS...can you say LAWSUIT

I'm in the bay area and I have 50% fronts and removed front license plate. Many of my friends have removed front license plates and 20% all around, and none of us has ever been pulled over... so I guess it depends on your area

As long as you are gonna be ready to get tickets, then yes, it looks okay. I wouldn't do it though, I have a hard enough time driving at night already. And you REALLY need to look at that sticker placement, unless a hole was cut for that purpose or you are going to remove it anyways.

The front sides are one thing, but the windshield will totally screw you over. I got pulled over just for tint last October and decided to take my fronts off just to avoid being harassed further, and mine was only 35% all around.

Not a cop...but that is SO asking for it, if I were the cop...I would tow it pronto....not even let you drive it five feet forward. And again....far from a cop....but man - tint on front windshield = trouble in several ways. Good luck with that.
As for the looks...ya...it looks pretty cool. Just not worth the trade offs IMO.

Looks good but I agree with the others. Around here, that would be a cop magnet. Start praying that some doctor will give you a prescription you can show the cops who are surely going to be pulling you over.

No, it was authorized by the NJ DMV, and therefore supercedes the NJ statutes.

i like it, but i wouldnt do it b/c of the def harrassing from cops
i have tints and no license plate and i hate driving when i go out at night, i am scared to get a dui, u have two beers and ur already the limit

lol i dont drink so i dont have to worry bout a dui.....the doctors note was sent to the dmv with a copy of my registration and the certificate i got back from the dmv says i can have all the windows and the front windshield tinted....lol....i found a loophole
