If you DD your TL-S...
I think quite a lot of the modded TL's on this site are daily drivers.
Mine is not a "weekend/show car"; it's got a good handful of bolt-ons, susp, lighing, etc and is a daily driver. Probably looks stock to 99% of people.

maybe if my TL was turbo putting out over 400hp killing lots of gas I would consider it only on the weekends. other than that its my dd but im 21 and i only have one car so i would have no choice in the matter anyways.

I DD my car on a race gas mix. My attitude is why have a nice car that you rarely drive. Many of my friend have very nice weekend cars, but drive a bucket to work. If I worked in a more questionable area I wouldn't bring the TL, but I bought a luxury car to enjoy that during my commute. I also figure I am most exposed to an accident durring my drive to work so why not drive the car that offers the most protection. Gas wise I am mixing $7.25 per gal 100 octane race gas with $4.50 per gal 91 octane, so I think might as well enjoy it. I spent all this $$$ on the car why not enjoy that as much as possible.
TL-S daily driver..the silver Z over there <------- was my toy (till I sold it). Funny thing is the Z06 gets basically identical fuel economy as my TL-S with over double the HP :-)
The TL is meant to be a daily driver. Its a 4 door sedan FWD so thats what I use it for.

My Tl is my DD until I get the new tranny dropped in my CL. Probably going to go to the stealership for a quote on the part. I know they are getting tough to find as the car is no longer made and it was one of those "oopsies" that companies like to sweep under the rug. Maybe like the 6mt TL will be once enough of them start to go???
DD with light mods, as per my sig. Trying to trick out a car to show levels and then drive it daily is a recipe for a nervous breakdown. Any DD is going to pick up some nicks and dings. I enjoy my car for what it is: a sporty, nice looking, reasonably quick, roomy car that gets okay mileage if I keep myself in the bottom half of the tach. Seeking perfection is a great way to never be satisfied with what I have.

I have a TL (not TL-S) so maybe i shouldnt post here,
but I DD mine, as it is my only car. I will have a couple mods in the future, thanks to you guys.
I'll continue to drive it everyday and once i'm done modding to my satisfaction,as sharksbreath said so ppls can see how ballin i am at any given time (LoL, and i can look like i have other cars when in reality, its my only car and i'll cry if something happens to it)
Its a sexy car, if not the sexiest 4dr honda/acura IMO, and it breaks neck and gets compliments so hells yea
