Why would three guys sit in the car and have the headlights on if they were on a dyno? They are definitely on the streets endangering other innocent ppl's lives.

you know, if all of you weren't such pus**s, you would realize that it's not that bad if you are on an open highway......sometimes at 3am there is barely a car in sight and even though it's a big risk, it's not always a danger to others unless they really were idiots and did it while it was busy on the highway......what's interasting though is that i've done top speed runs when there is noone around that my governor is exactly at 150, these guys must have removed the governor....also they must have tuned it because it seemed to accelerate faster than my 6mt tl....but you never know.

Nobody is being a pu ssy. Just because your speedo says 160 doesnt mean your tires are rated for such speeds. If you like to show off and burn up your tires then proceed to do 150+ on tires not rated for those extremes then god bless because if one of them bad boys lets loose your dead. Another thing doing it any time of the day with or without traffic there is still a high amount of risk you take. Just because you don't see the cop doesn't mean someone else doesn't see you on camera and sends you a nice fat ticket to your mail. BTW get caught doing 150 by a cop and lets see how pu ssy it is afterwards. Im sure you will be the pu ssy crying your eyes out to your parents when they take away THEIR car which im sure they JUST bought it for their 19 year old kid to do 150 in..... Don't talk out of ignorance.

I hope they were in a Low traffic area!....not smart at all , if the guy was not a seasoned driver! especially doing this at night !.....with less occupants, he could of hit 155 easily!

And they were on a public street, too, with headlights coming in the opposite direction.

Definitely was not a dyno. Wind noise, camera shaking the faster they go, and if it was a dyno it would accelerate hard all the way up to the max rpm and not slow down to a crawl like it was doing.

Even if they were on an open highway, it's still a dangerous thing to do. One small mistake on the driver's part and it's all over for all three travelling at that speed.

hold on... Ive totally maxed the car out to 160mph before I dont really think honda governs their cars unless u bring it in with major issues concerning tranny n engine.... thing is, I would never do that on public streets the way these kids did. Ive done it on a highway that Im very familiar with at night and with no people on it and no people in my car either. Why would you endanger the lives of others not only around you but others in the car with u?.... I only topped out once after my break in period.... you'll only catch me cruisin now. no need to hurt the car

ok, mister 21 yo, now you can officially drink beer so you think that you are very wise......i've heard enough bullshit about tire speed ratings, everybody mentions them, that's why my tl is governed at 150 because that's where the original tires are rated at, i aloso have the high performance tires and those are W rated which are at 168mph......wayy after the governor and they are said to be safe til 168, after that i bet they are still totally safe for the next 20+mph......befacuse there is always a buffer. My friend in a 96 RL has no governor and on some ice he floored it and the speedometer went way past 160 like upto 180 and his tires were rated for 110.....the tire ratings are bullshit, unless you have a defective tire with a bubble or one that wobbles, your tire would not let go and if it does, you can still do something about it.....i also had my tires pumped at 40psi so heat does not build up from a soft tire....also, not all of us have to have our parents buy our cars for us, the car i financed by myself with no cosigner, i pay the monthly payment and the car is in my name...it is not my parents car, btw you are the ignorant one assuming that the car is my parent's and not knowing shit about tires and their ratings...

FYI, I do know how to spell the word "idiots" and I'm pretty sure everyone knows I meant to spell the word "idiots" and not "idoits". That's why it was not brought to my attention.

Does the TL handle well over 100MPH with a blown tire? I would like to see a video of that situation.

Have you ever driven a car with a tire that was very low or had a space-saver spare on it? If placed on the front often the car prefers not to go straight since the circumference is usually different. Imagine compounding that problem with some rubber flopping around (may be some side-to-side action as the rim is running over it) then add to it out of balance wheel as some rubber comes off or starts separating. It sounds like a horror story, only it's your life and not a Hollywood movie.

Please think of others around you and your family before doing these speeds on the street and not a track. Something most often learned with age and experience!

not that i disagree with you, but with all due respect it's not something that the driver cannot do anything about....there is dirvers that would get a flat tire at 30 mph and crash and call it the tire's fault, there is others that would get a flat at over 80mph and be able to handle and save thier neck safely....now i know your opinion of a teen driver is that they really really suck, and that's ok i don't blame you, but there is things that some people don't relate to and not every1 is the same.......just look at those arabs spinning camrys with over 80mph that most drivers could only dream about, and the ones that take suvs and drive them on 2 wheels through turns, and the drifters.....it's not always as hopeless as you might think, when you're in control, you're in control...you cannot blame your tire or anything else, if anything happens it's your fault because you are the one operating the machine....now i have always been a car enthusiast and have very close to 5 years of almost every day driving experience now, i've been in snow, rain, fog, you name it, and i love it, when it starts raining i would go out and pull some e-brakes around wide roads.....it's all to the person, not every1 is a grandma behind the wheel some people understand dynamics of a car....no offence cuz at the end, god bless but you and not just rely on that and be a careless and shitty driver.

btw, how would blowing a tire at 100mph on a track or on a street make a difference? and i am saying these speeds are done when there is NO traffic around...like 3 am on an interstate highway, there is some around here that even during the day you don't see cars for miles...i am not saying it's not stupid to speed like that on roads, but there is some things that are not always as you might think
