Where'd you order them from?

A-Spec usually comes as a coil-over/complete Shock/Spring kit.

I didn't want to worry you.. I don't know the specs on A-SPEC's.. it may be that the A-Spec rear assembly uses stockies, that I'm not sure. Don't worry about it, just PM someone who has A-Specs or a mod and ask specifically.

Agree. You need someone with the A-Spec from the same yeasr/model to go look at the individal part numbers. The A-Spec part numbers show up as a "kit" or "assembly" not single peices (shock, spring, top hat parts, etc).

I just went to that thread you posted. I think there's a consensus that the A-SPEC shocks are the same. I wouldn't worry, but you should PM a moderator and get a definite answer. I wouldn't trust some service writer's knowing the specifics of the A-SPEC assembly shock from a base shock.

PM CHiNaMaN440.. He seems to know exactly.

Hey guys, I checked my a-spec suspension and the part numbers for each shock/strut and spring combo follow that of the part numbers posted on acuraoemparts.com.

FRONT,R: 08W60-SEP-2M0A1
FRONT,L: 08W60-SEP-2M0A1
REARS: 08W60-SEP-2M0C1

I looked for a part number on each individual shock and this is what I saw etched into each shock.

FRONT,R 031104
FRONT,L 031106
REAR,L 03111
REAR,R 03110

Not positive these numbers are the strut p/n's but they were the only set of numbers I found on the strut. Hope this helps.

BTW, if anyone is interested my a-spec susp is for sale. I've just been too lazy to create a FS thread.

You got it right on the money. Those are the individual shock PNs. I wish i knew about your aspec sale a week ago, just ended up spending $475 on a brand new set.

Is there any differences between the AT A-Spec and the MT A-Spec? I have searched the threads and found some that said the MT has part number 08W60-SEP-200A or 08W60-SEP-201A. When I put this number in, I just see the AT version. Tim at HAW said that he just has info on the AT version as well.

Thanks...I had found that one also.

I checked acura automotive parts and 08W60-SEP-200 is for AT 2004-2006 and 08W60-SEP-201A is for AT 2007-2008. Nothing for 08W60-SEP-200A.

Wait til you receive them then give us more details. No reason to make any rash thoughts / decisions. There is confusion about the P/N because the A-SPEC assembly has a P/N separate from the component P/N's. If you paid $400 for shipped A-SPEC suspension that have very little use then you have a good deal. Cross your fingers in the mean time. This forum doesn't take lightly of other members being ripped off, so I suggest being patient and keeping cool no matter what, it will benefit you.

oh yea the reason why i bought this set up is because....... i wanted the A-Spec suspension but i didnt like the way it sit and i wanted the a lil tad bit lower. and i didnt want the tein springs because i seen that they sag alot in the back which i hate. when i saw how the seller of this set up car sat, i really really liked it.. i didnt want to get koni with nuespeed springs because i was scared that it was going to be to stiff. i wanted to keep it as stock quality as possible. so i seen these and i liked them.... they didnt sag and plus he said they were a-spec shockss... so hey just what i was looking for.. now to verify if they are A-Spec shocks ....... any clues..

Those are Stock Base Model Shocks.

The question you have not yet been able to answer is this:

If you buy the '04 - '06 Base TL A-Spec Suspension Kit from Acura, what part number is on the shocks?

IOW - the A-Spec "difference" might only be the springs and a typical buyer would not know that.
