Angry I was hit this morning

Man, and this is exactly why women are a danger on the road.

She was probably fumbling with her make up and what not, and slammed the hell out of the back of my car. To my suprise though, I didn't see any prominent damage. It looks like some paint from her car (a new silver Honda Civic) was left on the bumper, but i won't know completely till I wash the car back there and fully inspect. I will also probably take it to the dealer to look back there for any damage, just incase. (I got all her information though, which was good--and on another note wow-- :hitit: )

I was on an on-ramp getting on a highway, she thought I already pulled away, I obviously didn't, and she hit me really hard; hard enough to shoot me out onto the highway. I'm glad no one was there, or this could have been the end of me! I sped off to the shoulder right away, while she sat their and cried her eyes out. I bet if I wasn't spending the $2.30/gal on prem gas the car wouldn't have gotten out of the way so quick....

Acura Bumpers look like they hold up pretty well..... :bigun2:

I would definitely take it to a body shop or your dealer for a close inspection. Any more, these days with plastic, painted bumpers, it doesn't take much of a bump to have some damage which needs repair. Good luck to you nonetheless.

How old is Christine? She looks like she can't be more than a teenager! (Or maybe I'm missing something here - I hope I am). (Sorry for the tangent...)

On another note, once you get any scuffed paint or paint chips on the bumper, they'd have to repaint that entire area in order to get it to look right.

Oh, God. No!

Why oh why did it have to be a Camel? Why not another SSM?

I will pray for you.

I got hit a few years ago in a similar situation. The bumper was scraped up and cracked, but no real damages were apparent. I got a new bumper installed, but the body shop guy had to fix some damages under the foam or whatever that middle layer was called (on an 02TLs).

I would call the lady back and "try to work somethin out." My daddy always said not to stay hit. "If I got hit in this scenario, I'd hit back with a vengance" SO HIT IT. And then come back and tell us about it. And if this wasn't posted enough on this thread, here it goes again: :hitit: \

Car accidents are great for meeting chicks. They are all scared and their adrenaline is pumping... and you walk up to them and say, "The least you owe me is a date."

I pay for the car myself. Although some people think that because I live with my parents that they paid for it indirectly. :argue:

I am in your same situation right now. Only 19, bought (as in MYSELF) a 5AT NBP/NAVI/ and I still live at home with my parents too. I'm sure people around my neighborhood assume my parents bought it for me, but if they want to know all they have to do is ask...I don't have a girlfriend, but there are a couple "lady friends" that make up for it
Anyways though, accidents are horrible but then again that's why they're called accidents. I would defnitely get "some sort of" retribution :diablotin

Hey, if you guys got into dating, maybe you could even teach her how to drive! Just not the TL....
