I have arrived!

Well I just wanted to say hello to everyone.

I picked up my new '06 TL w/ Navi in Anthracite on Friday. I can say that so far I am very pleased and believe that I made the right choice. I was deciding between a fully loaded '06 Passat and the TL, but the consumer reports as well as the navigation system on the TL pushed me over the edge.

We negotiated down to a price of $32,500 which included the protection package (wheel locks, trunk tray and mud guards) as well as the first year of service.

I look forward to reading many more posts on the site and learning all I can in the next couple of months.

I'd post pics but since I'm bone stock that would be pretty pointless, you all know what a stock TL in anthracite looks like. Thanks for all the pre-purchase information; this site was a lot of help in making my decision an easy one.

VW's reliability is scetchy at best, acura's is not. the 06 tl's are rock solid and tranny's seem to be much improved.

This is not meant to be sexist or anything, but if you're a guy driving a VW, you WILL be made fun of in my office. When I bought my TL, I got nothing but oooh's, ahhh's, and jealous coworkers. haha

Thanks for all the greetings and yes I do believe the TL is a much better choice than the Passat.

I'm definitely enjoying, but not too much. Still babying my way through the break in period. At least I can play with the navi and bluetooth for a few weeks to get me through.
