I have a 2007 TLS and I was looking at the paint on the passenger side it was painted over from the front door to the back bumper but no dent or scratches just the color is a shade off what you guys recommend me to do the color is white diamond pearl

I don't have pics but its slightly little darker than the other side I jus want to know how much u guys think a good body shop will charge me to reprint that one side so it matches the other side

your better off getting the entire car painted at that point, go get some estimates. A quality re-spray of WDP is gonna cost ya. are you sure your eyes arent just playing tricks on you? WDP looks different from all angles/lighting conditions. its a crazy color bro

No it will not match.... I don't think you want to spend 3k on a paint job so just live with it. Anything less than 3k will be subpar quality.

Because the other side of the car is very clean and is Oem paint but I'm guessing this side where the paint problem is there was scratches that's why it was reprinted. Or should I just paint the 2 passenger side doors and the quarter panel

clearly it seems that you are VERY anal about how your car looks. So, with that being said...the ONLY way you are gonna be happy is to REPAINT the ENTIRE car. Anything else is just half assing it

If you dont mind, whats the VIN of your TL? I can tell you if it was nothing more than "scratches" for the reason one side of your car is a different color. If you dont care to know just ignore this post, otherwise if you do and dont want to post your VIN feel free to PM me.

Before buying a car ALWAYS look at the paint. Im pretty anal about this kind of stuff just like you and the first thing I look at when purchasing a car is to be 100% sure all body panels and paint are original. From my track record of buying and selling cars if my car had that serious of paint matching issues I would sell it and buy another lol. If thats not an option then as others have said, the only way to do the job correctly is to have the entire car re-painted. A quality paint job will cost a pretty penny $$$.

If your from nyc there's a good and fair priced shop. They've painted my white zdx before and the blend was perfect.

OP.... You would have to repaint the front fender to the rear bumper. You have to include the adjacent panels to color blend the new base color into the existing panel. That's already 1/3 of the car, and as said, doing a complete is worth considering. You can't just paint the doors, and new replacement doors, 99% of the time won't match perfect either. Sucks but some hack work on the car in the past. Might have been the seller doing a cheap cover up for re-sell.

Stop washing the car and you'll never notice it. If it's a daily driver I'd let it slide til it warrants a repaint cause it's just gonna get dinged and scratched again.

I went to a good shop that paint BMW and Benz mostly high end cars and they told me 1,500 to paint the quarter panel and the 2 doors and blend the fender to match the whole side and he said that it will come out 99% like the other side of the car
