Brothers and sisters, lament with me as I sold my 2005 anthracite TL today.

I bought a Type-S back in December and have been working on swapping mods over from my '05 and getting it cleaned up to sell, and finally dusted it today.

It makes me sad to see such a great car go - I truly love the way the 3rd gen looks, and my anthracite '05 was my first TL which has been perfect to me. Not a single issue the entire time I owned it. Sold @ 118k miles.

I've never been one for taking photos of my car before but I took a brief album today before the sale alongside my new type-s, and threw a couple quick solo photos of the type-s for good measure.

The community here at Acurazine has been responsible for empowering me to keep this car running like a champ all this time, and for that I thank you. I felt good selling the car knowing that someone would be getting a reliable vehicle that will run to 200k based on the information I used from this forum.

But yes, I cried for maybe 10 seconds......in my head....then remembered that I took photos to remember the car with and went back to rowing gears in the 6mt, lol.

i just love all 3rd gen TL's, what can i say?

ILC - I understand your pain. After I bought my 2005 TL, in Anthracite (and 6MT!), I spent 6 months fixing up my 1999 Maxima. Even when it was ready, I had a hard time letting go....

Oddly, I've also been pondering selling my 2005 TL for a 2007-2008 Type-S CBP (and 6MT!)....

that's a nice gallery - damn Wisconsin weather is killing me here, I won't be able to put in a solid detailing job for another 2 months probably. I would really like to put an album together like that, though. Nothing too flashy, just really clean like yours.

I've got full bolt-ons short of a catback (considering heeltoe's upcoming groupbuy for an ATLP quad system though). Now git to moddin', dude !
