we have great number of chances to fall into temptation in our lives, he is 24 years old,

the age in the greater chance of exposure in temptation. (i am not judging poeple by age

though) we are dealing with such an expensive car here but $239.99 is still big money...

i really want to kick his ass...really...since i am NOT GOD who can forgive everything...but if

he changed his mind and is trying to make thing right, i will happily accept his sorry

becuase everyone makes a mistake weather it is intentionaly or not.

i hope the item coming to place is correct.

I want to get rid of it ASAP. it was too stressful....wasted time and energy....

 

well, all you can do is to wait for the item to arrive now.
until then, keep calm and be patience.
the item you bought is still something you want right? why do you want to get rid of it ASAP?

if the item you'll receive are used or in bad condition, i am sure there're many acurazine members here in vancouver that can help you out.

but for now, just keep yourself together and wait.

flying to BC is only 5 hours. i am from toronto myself and for your own sake, next time just buy parts in toronto instead of a small city like vancouver unless you know someone here locally.

so i don't know about him..thought 2 good reason buying from him were, he is in canada so i would have lower shipping cost and tax AND he is a memeber of this forum....one invovled long preiod in such an big forum site seem very reliable to newbys....

 

Dont let this experience doubt the integrity of Acurazine. I have sold thousands of dollars worth of stuff and purchased some as well. Never once did anything go wrong.

And as for our vendors (Excelerate, Mr. Heeltoe, Supercomputers etc.etc.. ) they are always on point.

"ALL" the mods for my car were, and will always be purchased from Acurazine vendors or members. Never had a problem, even when i paid 1200 dollars + my cellphone for my new wheels. LOL

^ Agreed. Life happens sometimes and we can't all gang up on him until we have heard all the facts. That being said, it would have avoided any aggravation and confusion had this guy simply sent an email to the buyer and let him know the shipment would be delayed. If he had the time to view the thread then he had time to be courteous and let his buyer know what's up.

Hope the package is what you ordered and that everything is in order!

different purpose. he delected his email account right after the money was sent from me and diconnected him as well. i can not see that the only reason it has been delyed was that he just was too busy. dely is not acceptable without proper excuess direct to the buyer and only reasonable when the buyer accpet. thing works like this in anywehre on the earth. i am also student. walk or drive to post office is not really impossible even if it is exam period or sit on a computer and write 2 sentence email :i am so busy, i will ship it next monday or something. it is not very hard if not all his fingers broken.
i will let you know guys after the package arrives.

the first 10 pages had a lot of communication between the seller and the forum.

short version:
a guy selling brand new parts, but the parts are actually used. Then the seller asked for more money after buyer sent/paid for the parts. Seller kept the parts and money for a while...

Buyer asked the seller on the condition several times, and the seller confirmed they are brand new.

full version:
... read it yourself. lol just the first 1-5 or so then skip to the end.

 

The thing is that the attitude of the seller. He was extremely rude and immature in all his replies.

oh, the members started digging up personal info and what not of the seller.

OH CRAP! I just spent over 2 hours reading that! That had to be the best revenge ever!

 

I took 5 hrs ( i know i don't have a life) to read through the first 37 pages. then i couldn't take it no more. so i jumped to the last page which was page.74 i belive


here and some lond cliff notes


1. guy sell some gears as brand new for $100 to a member
2. member sent a check for the NEW item
3. seller cashed the check
4. seller than after a week posted a new forsale thread asking $125 for the same gears
5. buyer from the first thread came in and said WTF is going on with my hears??
6. seller than claimed that u made a mistake in the first thread on the price, u forgot to put $125
7. everyone nicely told him to suck up his mistake and send the guy the gears
8. dude was a complete ASSHAT and decided to cry about not gettin $25
9. people slowly started to dig up personal info on him
10. everything from Name, Address, Phone #, what school he went to, his football states in HS, what his dad did for a living, what his mom's name is i mean they dug up everything
11. guy starts getting scared at this point and starts to say that he was never trying to rip people off (repeatedly).
12. finally after about a 800 posts later the dude decides to send the guy his shit
13. then says that they are used
14. than says they are like new
15. than says well what do u exept to get for a $100
16. people were about to go down and open a can of WOOP ASS on him for being a total idiot
17. buyer finally got his gears and said he didn't want them
18. seller than sent a Money order of the $100 plus shipping back to the buyer and then the buyer send the seller his gears back
19. people posted his family's pix all over the thread including his year book pix
20. guys from his local town soon knew about this and started posting in the thread about how retarded he is.

let me update
the item didn't arrive and since i kept refusing to cancel the claim, Paypal concluded that will refund my money in 5 days if the seller has suffient money in his payapl account, or if not, paypal will act appropriate action (i don't kow what thugh).
now, i am not sure the seller acutally sent HID or not, because paypal didn't wait me to get the item!!? it does't show what item is sent on UPS website.
so Finally, it ends up with refunding my money. the seller disappointed me even at the end.
never showed himself with any explaination. what a bad fool.
this left me nothing but so much worries and stresses.
if i sent the money in other root other than payapl, like personal check or giving him credit card number or something that hardly recoverable and trackable.. i would be in big trouble. it left me so lesson too.
i am NOT judging All the seller are suspectable of frude though better be carful when you buy things on online. buying on online give you a lot of benefits ,they are cheaper ,delivery but they are not always good. however, buying things from the seller in Froum like Acurazine is much more crediable and reliable. all can hardly suspect that the seller will do bad thing because the place such here are being built the group of people who love the same thing, Acura. it should not happend to anybody in this forum especially! i was too unlcuky hahaha ㅡ ,.ㅡ^

as soon as i got my money back i will try to look for foglight for my ACURA TL-S 08 in this froum if anyone sell. i will just give it a try one more time ^^

Yeah I know that feeling lol. Glad everything turn out ok. I've had similar things happen to me and learn a lesson each time. Must be glad you paid with paypal. I got scammed doing COD lol. But I threaten the guy hardcore, he must have shit his pants cuase I got the money back in full lol. Well like 3 weeks later but at least I still got it.
