He hasn't been here since the 27th, but before that he visited almost every day.

If it wasn't for the visiting I could have given him the benefit of the doubt and said he was sick or travelling or whatever, but if you have time to visit you have time to post a couple of lines and make some excuse.

He's from Vancouver, British Columbia, but other than that I have no idea where he lives.

I wonder if the whole j-pipe thing was a scam he was trying to pull. He could have pretended to sell a few to attaract a larger audence and they ran with the money. I am not sure what we was going to charge for the j-pipe but he could of taken some real money if a bunch of people sent him money. What a douche. Also why would he leave the money in his pay pal account if he was scamming this guy?

Paypal has a lot more "authority" than you're aware of. You should read the terms and conditions of your agreement.

- The amount of money in question is "frozen" in your paypal account when a dispute is filed. You can't use paypal until the dispute is resolved.
- If there's no money in the account, paypal has the authority to reach into your bank account to recoup the funds if they judge in your favor. You'll even get a "NSF" letter (non-sufficient funds).
Scammers have to a bit more work to really scam folks.

Read some horror stories here, and take little faith that paypal can bail you out. 7 times out of 10, your screwed. Fraudulent disputes are really a bitch. They can lock up your account (and maybe your bank) for months.

I use paypal a lot, but it's imperative you do your homework on the person your about to send that money too... becasue it may be all you have to go on if you get shafted.

He visited didn't defend himself and handled the sale VERY VERY VERY POORLY. I believe he is guilty. HE DIDNT EVEN EXPLAIN.

 

i kind of have to agree... maybe he thought he could scam, or he really was busy... saw our reactions and was ashamed !! i mean, if i was shipping something and got a little held up, and you guys started bashing me.. i would be embarassed to show my face...

however, i would let the buyer know of the delays or reasons why its taking so long... so yes, poor seller... bad person... i dunno.. only him and his friends do. i have sold over $20k worth of stuff on ebay and like $5k worth of stuff on here. no complaints...no neg. feedback.... NOTHING...

i really hope this whole horror story doesnt impact any potential buyers and shun them away from purchasing on AZ.

That's what I will assume. I also think he's one of those scammers who scam people's money to survive or being a drug dealer if there's no money coming from parents.
