Well, I took the plung and got 30 Optiks on my TL. It looks great although it is a little lighter than I thought it would be.

I had it done at the art of the tint (TOM). He really did a great job.

I wanted to wait a few weeks to make sure everything came out great and it did. It is more expensive but when the sun beats down on my car, I can feel the difference.

 

I'm sure you know what I'm about to ask...

I know HO is one of the more expensive films on the market. F1 Pinnacle can run anywhere from $200 and up. Would you mind saying how much you paid for your install?

I paid $425 installed and he really did an excellent job.

Tom also does other tints but I have to think that he is one of the best installers in the NY area.

yup! HO are expensive! i got mine around $340 (pinnacle) with moleskine

 

i got 3M CS with moleskin for $330.

i got 38% (medium) and i feel like its too dark. at night, its very difficult to see thru the rear view mirror and you can't see anything from outside. i'm starting to wonder if my installer accidentally put 20% (dark) instead. it looks good and all, but i just hope i don't get a fix-it ticket...
