I am looking for a good tint shop in the San Jose area. I visited one that seems to do the job right - 3M tint, moleskins, clean room to apply the stuff - but they were asking $425! Get real! There is a place called Mr. Tint in the area, but when I asked them why they don't pull the side glass or even the door panels I was told that will void my warranty. Get real, again! There MUST be a decent place that can do a good job without robbing me.

Has anyone had a positive experience with a reputable shop in the South Bay Area?

Dude, there's hundreds of tint threads. Do a search. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. I paid a little over $400 for Huper Optik in Bossier City 2.5 years ago. No problems at all. Worth every penny.
