i was looking to get some tint on my car but i was worried about some horror stories ive heard about bad cutting, bubbling, etc. i just wanted to get ur experiences on it? how long have u guys had it on and have u had any bubbling yet? Any good shops in the socal area? thanks

 

water bubbles are ok and most will disappear within a week. air bubbles are not ok... they WILL NOT dissappear no matter that the tinter tells you. If you see air bubbles have them take care of it right away.

 

There's some pretty good information here - www.tintdude.com. I used it before getting my tint done.

 

i've got a good tint guy, in murrieta (kustom options), it was 195 for all the windows.. how far are you from murrieta?

 

I wish i had a nickel for every post that Best Window Tinting in Tustin's name is in. Ask for Carlos. $160 for 7 windows, including mole skin.

It has Best Window Tinting's contact info and pictures of members' cars that have had tints done there. It might be a little drive for you, but members that have done it there will tell you it was well worth the drive.

No bubbles on mine.

Just an FYI...

I just got off the phone with Best Window Tinting in Tustin and Carlos no longer works there. Kinda weird since I just spoke to Carlow on Friday. So if you are looking for a tint from this company, and you have to call to make an appointment, call the number and ask for Robert. He will be taking care of us from now on.

Didn't bother to ask if they are using the same method and quality of the tint (application of the felt/moleskin, etc). I guess I should have, but it should be the same, right?

 

I dont know who i talked to but i questioned him he they install the moleskin and remove the break lights and he says yes.

 

Just an FYI, Robert says they charge $190 now....

 

Any canucks know of a good tint shop in Calgary?
