How's the visibility?

I drive an 03 Accord and one of my biggest complaints is that the pillars to too thick, making it harder to turn or change lanes. Just wondering how the TL is. I only drove it once and felt the visibility was a little worse than the Accords. Compared to the old TL, do you think this car makes it harder to turn or change lanes?

Similar but the view to the rear in the TL is also restricted you get used to it. The thick pillars are a safety issue, Stronger passanger cage and Curtain airbags. I think thats why the TL has the radar back up assistance thing option.

It won't be a big problem at all after you're familiar with your car. It takes a while to know all the blind spots.

But, I'm still in trouble with the rear visibility when parking, it may take longer time to deal with. I'm thinking to have camera installed, maybe.

Got some researches to do.

I review weeeg's pics. And, I try to hide that camera better and prevent any damage happening. Don't know how MDX or RX330 have done. But there should be some ways to make that camera less visible.

It is in a similiar place, but u don't remove the licence plate lights. Gonna get some animals, dirt and, water up there. It is like a black casing nuv that secures to teh ledge. You can prob find it in pics of the MDX on their forum or the acura homepage. I am too tired to look, it's late. Let's do it!

I agree it's all in getting used to the dimensions of the car and where everything is. I am perfectly comfortable that I can maintain a 360 degree situational awareness in the car with my mirror settings.

I still wonder how I used to park my boat of a '77 Gutlass though.

Question

Maybe it's only me.

Sometimes, I got problems to back up my car, and already hit parking poles twice, garage wall once, and another car twice, since last Oct. (I'm glad that 04TL's rear bumper is much stronger than I've thought)

If 05TL doesn't come with the rear-view camera, I'm going to make this happen. Otherwise, I will just add 05TL's feature into my car.

TO moreace, I probably know where 04RX330 and 04MDX locate their cameras after viewing their sites. Do you get any sources to install this stuff?

Maybe you should consider learning to drive first...... j/k

I would assume if you can buy the part from Acura/ Lexus it is as simple as drilling a hole and affixing the camera on that lid. Then just running the wire either to the DVD nav if possible in the trunk or to one of those av electronics things we'll need. EIther way and capable body shop should have no problem. Not complex

Visibility is bad in the rear only some instances, overall its pretty good.

Visibility is terrible when your driving in turns because of the drivers side front pillar, it blocks so much of the road. My only real problem with the car.

There are definitely blind spots.... buy a civic. A new Chevy Impala is good too. LOL. Yep, its tougher to pay attention. But it looks damn good.
