I figured maybe that guy would chime in, or, maybe kfk256 would recognize it and PM him, I just didn't feel like looking through posts.
What are you doing that involves camera insertion? Is it one of those things that keeps track of eye position so if you doze off it sets of an alarm? Does it take a photo of the poor bastard who dares steal your car?

that guy would be me
cluster takes aboiut 5 minutes to remove
lower your steering wheel as low as it will go
grab the cluster surround and pull, there are 6 clips holding it on, once it's off remove the 2 harnesses
the cluster is held in by 4 screws, remove those, and make the face of the cluster point down, you'll then be abe to see the back of the cluster. behind the cluster there are 2 harnesses that need to be remove, once you do that the cluster will slide out

I was just trying to help when I posted the picture, but then missed the boat, so can we call this even?

Cudos to Crazy for responding professionally.
Kfk256 - Sorry all for my rambling/hijacking.
--Thanks for the pics and posts men. I have a very minor/intermittent rattle behind the cluster that I may tackle someday.
Cheers

Yah, it took a lot of work, I almost verbally killed ron and got myself removed from the forum, JK, Ive takin up medatation by way of finding old things and smashing them with bigger heavier old things or just lighting them on fire.
Thats pretty cool, it would be even cooler if you could get a retnal scanner in too, but I think one would need a more expensive higher quality camera. Be sure to keep us posted.
