How to remove..?

I ordered a replacement for this piece from Ack.
Received it a week ago.. but I don't know how to remove it!
not sure what it's called, does anyone know how to remove it?
I removed these 4 tiny bolts inside but that doesnt seem to be enough and I cant figure out what else I need to remove.

Umm I removed that piece before, I just don't remember what exactly what all I unscrewed to remove it. If i recall, there are some bolts that are awkwardly positioned also holding it in? You have to kinda stand and reach up the trunk lid at a certain angle to be able to reach some bolt/nut that is also holding it in.

Don't take my word for it, these might be the 4 bolt/nuts that you said you already removed..

I just remembered that THAT particular piece was held in my alot of dirt and dust so you had to push it really hard for it to kind of break away. Since yours is already broken and can't be any worse, I would suggest you trying to use some brute force to see if it will pop out....

It's not that difficult at all man, if that doesn't work than you should closely examine the inside of the trunk liner and look for any/every possible bolt/nut/screw that looks like it can be holding something in place, and it's most likely holding that piece in.

Yeah I know my words weren't really that helpful, but that's all I can really recall off the top of my head when I took that piece out. I don't even remember why I took that piece out for.... I think it was to vinyl the silver bar above the license plate, or I was just experimenting around just to see if I could get it off.... Whatever it was, I did manage to do it by myself with no guides or books, so I'm 100% you can too!

I don't know how to remove it but I would suggest looking at the back of your new one to see where there are clips and studs.

Not bad! Not quite as bright as 6-LED Flank Angled style bulbs (Angled Flank bulbs light up the whole ground below the bumper lol) but still really bright nonetheless!

If you want true bright just skip LEDs and get cold cathodes.

That's what I'm gonna do.

Cold cathodes are cheap too like $10

Oh wow ok, now those do look pretty bright ha.

Here's how my before and after looks..

5K 360 Style 5-LED from V-LEDs - http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-B...22412-1-2.html

5K Angled Flank Style 6-LED from V-LEDs - http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...64848-1-2.html

Thanks guitarplayer16 for convincing me to go with angled flank style bulbs!! I wish I would have went this route the first time around. The bulbs cost $3 cheaper, and although V-LEDs says the 360 style bulbs are 4 out of 5 for brightness compared to the flank style bulbs that says 3 out of 5 for brightness, hands down the angled flank style bulbs are easily x3 as bright in comparison!!
