Front Upper Ball Joint Install ?
Front Upper Ball Joint Install ?
Does anyone have the service manual scans for the front upper ball joint install? Doing an ingalls front camber kit on wednesday and would like to have any extra tips/info.
using the ball joint removal tool from autozone to remove.. after looking at some pics, it seems like the camber kit just fits inside the upper control arm and the adjustment stuff just screws in on top.. is it really that easy?
thanks in advance

I think you might've seen this already.

I don't remember how it went together, and don't want to give you bad info. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah, that's the one I was checking out earlier. I bookmarked that one for future reference. Although after doing more research, I'm pretty sure the new one still gets pressed in so it's very important to make sure the adjustment piece is on perfectly straight.
Anybody else wanna chime in?

No pressing needed for the new one, it'll fit right in and the nut on top holds it in place. The OEM ones are a bitch to get out so have a long breaker bar ready and make sure you press the old one out exactly straight, not at any angle.
Bad ass! Thanks for the info.
I figured they would be a pain to remove. I'm going to use the c-clamp ball joint press from AZ... Much like the one used in the thread that bearcat linked me to.
