How much is a TL-S shell worth?
I have a 2007 Black TL Type-S with no engine. It has 73,000 miles on it. Body is in great shape as is the interior. Any ideas how much this might be worth?? Or any offers??

I would say around $7-$8k, $6k to $7k for a used engine? who told you that? dealer? the only valuable used engine is Supra TT 2jz motor, our TL-S used engine only worth $2400 - $3500 and having some mechanic doing side job will cost you at most $1500 for putting in a new engine.

I can find a 3.5L motor for my van for like 750.00 and it has type S heads on it.
Find a 02-04 Honda Odyssey and pull the motor out of that.
$7k for a motor lol.
I wan gonna do a J-swap on my eg hatch and the 6 sp tranny was 3500.00 the motors I was finding 3.0, 3.2 and 3.5's for less than 1000.00. That was about 3 years ago.

You can get a brand new engine from acuraoemparts.com for well under $5000, although not sure about shipping. Another $1600 to install it at a decent mechanic. The car will be worth a lot more if you do this than just sell a nonworking shell (although you may be able to get a decent amount out of it if you part it out but that takes a lot of time and energy).
