How much for a repaint? NBP to WDP

Ok, I've been looking through picture threads for different rims, and I've decided that the WDP is by far the best color TL. I currently have NBP on my car. It is needing the front bumper and rear passenger quarter repainted anyways due to damage. How much (approximately) would it cost for a good paint job of WDP on the entire car?

I would think that changing the color of car would hurt the value such that you may be better off just trading to the color you want.

I definitely would not change the color like that. It will greatly reduce the car's value. Just keep it NBP. Sell it and buy a WDP.

Repaint...next owner wouldnt be able to tell if you had your original paint damaged for the repaint to occur, or if you truely just repainted it for the heck of it.

I would go to repainting the whole car as the last resort because nothing really compared to the durability of OEM paint.

But if you insist on repainting it, paint it a nice white, not the same as OEM. Maybe the JDM white the rsx comes in, or the M3 white. And make sure you get a clear bra for the front, because the new paint WILL chip from freeway driving.

Also repainting the car properly (remving engine to paint and stripping car down to just body) will cost more than just trading it in. Get ur-self an 07 TL-S while ur at it and enjoy.

an above average factory quality paint job will cost you $4K here in LA...what year is your TL? just sell that and get an 06 WDP/Ebny auto/navi for only $30,000+tax&lic, TL has a strong resale value...peace

It will cost far more to repaint an entire car a different color than to sell the car and pick up a used WDP.

Plus as others have said, aftermarket paintjobs are rarely as good as factory paint.

The only time Id repaint is if you want to do a color that just isnt available from the factory.

You have got to be kidding, right???

A simple repair diminshes the value of a car, let alone a repaint. Change the color and you might as well cut the roof off and make it a convertible.
