Adding front mats? Those are standard. So, your saying that you paid about $1,500 for the bodykit and the decklid, right? I guess it's not bad as an installed price. eBay prices are about $800 for the kit and another $220 or so for the decklid. Looks like you spent ~$480 to get it installed...

I was going to purchase the same color; however, it did not come in black interior w/the aluminum finish. So I went with the Black on black. Host some pics once you put on those 19"inch shoes!!!

I bought the kit (excluding the wheels) for $800 shipped from Norm Reeves in Cali.

I installed it myself -- very simple install... the only part that takes some concentration is the front underspoiler b/c you actually have to drill holes in the original bumper.

Oh, and be prepared w/ you own 3M heavy duty double sided foam tape ... b/c the crap that comes on the body kit is worthless... doesn't stick worth sh-t!! you'll need to reinfornce the seams if you expect a gap-less install in the front and rear skirts.

Best of luck to all...i NEVER regret getting this kit...i get compliments from everyone, and i get looks from many people on the road b/c of the kit.... the TL w/o the kit is pretty boring IMHO .. but again, that's MY opinion for those who don't understand acronyms, or free speech for that matter.

I want to get it, but my wife just doesn't understand $800+ for "looks?!" Maybe I can do the old kids trick of adding up holidays... "Fathers day, and my birthday, and christmas, c'mon honey!"

I got my A-Spec body kit for about $950 installed. I also got the A-Spec steering wheel for $250. I think it's worth it---make the TL much more aggressive-looking and sportier--it makes the "regular" TL look way boring in comparison.

I was one of the first to 'just get" the aero kit in Oct of 03. The A-SPEC package didn`t come out yet, but I was not about to pay the price.
Just put on the kit and Comptech springs, and wide rubber. Completely satisfied!

I paid about $2000 for the kit and install, OEM not replica's.
I bought it from Garage5, then installed it at Starlite autobody

That is an amazing freaking price installed. The dealers I have been asking have been quoting me $1475 etc. etc. I finally got it down to $1275 (both prices w/o tax added). I finally called up Park Avenue Acura...and they offered me a price of ~$1250 including tax. I might end up going w/ them. I'll know by next week for sure if I'll be getting the kit.

I too believe that it is an aggressive add-on, that doesn't take away from the classiness.

There is such a big difference with the kit than without the kit. Without the kit, the car looks so naked! The body kit makes the car look 100X better.

The only thing i dislike about the bodykit is that the front and rear spoilers don't integrate into the seamless pattern of the front bumper. You see the obvious line where the front and rear skirts/underspoilers are slapped onto the respective bumpers. The sideskirts are seamlessly integrated, and I love that! I wish they would have thought more about the design of the front OEM bumper to better accomodate a future underspoiler that would be seamless.

I don't know how much I paid for mine. I made a list of features I wanted added. Then negotiated the final price of $33,400 before taxes. Included deck lid spoiler, side moldings, moon roof visor, and the under body spoilers. (side, back, front). I'm not sure I like the back spoiler , now I think it spoils (no pun intended) the look of the rear bumper.

I love my Abyss Blue TL auto with A-Spec body kit (lip spoiler), 18" wheels.Michelin Pilot A/S tires,A-Spec steering wheel,back-up sensors and A-Spec badge.....as most of you know the complete A-Spec package is not available up here in Canada (rumour has it will be an option for '05) so i had to order most of the parts seperately....all that's left is the suspension/lowering kit and the high performance brake kit......i'm still thinking about it.....BTW my car gets looks everytime i'm on the streets....especially from the tuner crowd !!

Seems like you bought the front chin spoiler first and later added on the side and rear skirts. Why not buy the whole kit at once?

I was an idiot and thought the front spoiler would integrate nicely w/ the OEM side skirts. Clearly, they didn't. So I bought the rest of the kit and am totally glad that I did.

Cdn04TL

How much did you end up paying for yours at NorthShore w/the kit?? I went there but couldn't close the deal. They offer me only $1000 off and not a penny more they say. So I went further out to Lougheed and was able to complete my deal there. Got around $1500 off but took a long time to negotiate tho.

Qatar, that's for the whole A-spec package, these guys are talking about just the body kit. I definitely like what you did to the interior of your car, by the way!

The body kit doesn't do it for me, the lines of the car flow better without it. That's why I only want the A-spec suspension, the most important component.

Quick Reply: How Many A-Spec bodykits do we have here??
